Location, location, location,
the most common reason for locating most businesses. You may consider Jimmy’s Coffee Shop inaccessible being up here in the north of the island, but from a boating point of view it makes the magnificent Phang Nga Bay, to the east just minutes away and heading west, under the Sarasen Bridge brings the famous Similan islands at least 2 hours closer than leaving from Chalong plus the famous ‘ Drop Off’ being available to fisherfolks within half and hour, a popular fishing hot spot, out of range of the slower Thai traditional boats out of Chalong.
This all sounds great but the boating side of the business will, by necessity, have to take its place on the priority list. While the cruisers, catamarans and jet skis are already here. We have competent staff and construction of the cannabis farm and quite a few related buildings is our present focus.

Another potentially lucrative proposal for the Coffee Shop is that we intend to furnish it with hand made furniture, made in our extensive workshops and will also be for sale when we can find the ideal craftsman. Again, like the boats all the facilities and materials are already here, for those wishing to make a day off it we right now, offer a comprehensive Thai Menu available in Jimmy’s lounge / kitchen for the time being.
The cannabis farm, Baan Suan Phuket Cannabis Centre, as you will see, is a six rai smallholding, owned and run by Ha Dee, with super adventurous plans, we already have two of a proposed three “outdoor” greenhouses built and running successfully, while our indoor facilities are nearly complete with the second phase due to be completed late September, allowing us to concentrate on the next priority Jimmy’s Coffee Shop.
At present apart from our two houses there are three bamboo salas used by our numerous construction workers although our plans are to replace these with three or four custom built cabins overlooking the lake which we intend to use for sail training for children and the odd bit of fresh water fishing.
